Project goal: The goal of the project is to create a laboratory "Forest to Energy", which will become an innovative platform for developing models for processing wood waste into fuel pellets and their use for heating budget institutions of the community. The implementation focuses on "soft investments" - educational and research activities, training, the formation of energy cooperatives and the development of a business model. An important element will be the preparation of a feasibility study, which will allow laying the foundation for future investments in equipment and scaling up solutions in the field of bioenergy. Thus, the project bridges the gap between the current state, when wood waste remains an unused resource, and the target level, which provides for their systematic use to reduce heating costs, increase energy independence and develop the local economy on the principles of a circular economy.
