Project goal: The project's goal is to increase the level of compliance of the solid waste landfill located outside the village of Stara Synyava, Khmelnytskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region, with modern requirements and standards in the field of waste management, environmental and sanitary safety. The goal is to achieve this by reconstructing the landfill, arranging and improving its engineering infrastructure, implementing the necessary measures to protect soil and water resources, organizing proper wastewater disposal and control, ensuring the safe operation of the facility and reducing the negative impact on the environment. The existing gap is that the existing landfill does not meet modern requirements for the arrangement and operation of waste disposal facilities, which creates risks of negative impact on the environment and the sanitary condition of the territory. The target level is the functioning of the reconstructed landfill in accordance with the established regulatory requirements, with an appropriate level of environmental and sanitary safety, controlled waste disposal and minimization of negative impact on the environment.
