Total project budget

2 490 000 UAH

Project goal: The project involves installing a solar power plant for Chemerovets Lyceum No. 2 in order to achieve 100% coverage of the institution's electricity needs. Currently, the lyceum consumes 19,034 kWh annually for about UAH 202.3 thousand, which is a significant burden on the community budget. The implementation of the project will allow for complete elimination of electricity costs and ensure uninterrupted educational processes even during outages in centralized networks. Over 5 years, the savings will amount to over UAH 1.2 million, and each subsequent year the benefit will grow along with the increase in tariffs. Surplus electricity can be transferred to the network or used for other community facilities. In addition to economic benefits, the project will reduce CO₂ emissions, contribute to climate goals, and allow students to get acquainted with modern energy-saving technologies in practice.
