Project goal: The goal of the project is to provide housing for large foster families to create new family-type orphanages (FBOs), which will allow orphans and children deprived of parental care to be placed in family-type care. This will help reduce the number of children in institutional care facilities and ensure their harmonious upbringing in an environment close to family-type.
To achieve this goal, it is planned to purchase a residential building for the FBO to operate and equip the housing in accordance with state standards for children's living.
Currently, there is only one family-type orphanage in the community, which makes it impossible to fully place orphans and children deprived of parental care in family-type care. A significant part of children continues to be in institutional care facilities, where the proper level of individual attention, socialization, and emotional development is not provided.
The target level assumes that by the end of 2026, another building for the DBST will be purchased and equipped, which will allow for housing for up to 10 children. This will make it possible to reduce the number of children in institutional care facilities and bring closer the implementation of the state deinstitutionalization policy.
