"New construction of sewerage networks on Roman Shukhevych Street, Gagarina Street, Druzhby Street in the city of Polonne, Polonskyi district, Khmelnytskyi region" (correction)
The drainage and sewage treatment system is outdated and has been working inefficiently. Pollution of the Khomorita Sluch River by sewage has been under the control of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine since 2016. In 2018, with the support of the state, new treatment plants with a capacity of 1000 cubic meters per day were built, thanks to which, the analyses of discharges from them began to comply with the norms of the legislation. However, only 30% of the territory of the city of Polonne is provided with a centralized drainage network, therefore there is an urgent need to increase and expand the sewage network both in order to expand services and reduce pollution of groundwater and rivers.
