Three months of intensive work, expert discussions and development. We are taking stock of the progress made so far in creating Civic Linker — a regional digital platform for civic engagement in the field of European integration

Since May, our team at the NGO ‘KPP “Code of the Nation”’, together with technical partners and experts, has progressed from the initial concept to algorithms ready for testing. What have we managed to achieve during this period?

• Institutional development: We have formed a Working Group on European integration, bringing together representatives of the authorities, civil society organisations and experts. This has ensured the soundness of our developments

• ‘Bottom-up’ methodology: 24 comprehensive indicators for community development and the assessment of European integration processes at local level have been approved

• Partnership network: Six pilot communities in the Khmelnytskyi region, which have successfully completed the onboarding process, have joined the project

• Innovative UX/UI solutions: Instead of complex tables, we have developed the Edu-Screening module — a step-by-step micro-learning wizard that overcomes ‘survey fatigue’ among officials

• Technical architecture: Our partners at Hexide Digital have laid a solid foundation for the platform, featuring a role-based access model, a high level of data security and 100% readiness for scaling across the whole of Ukraine

Civic Linker is now moving into the alpha and beta testing phases. We would like to thank our partners and donors for their trust. We are moving towards creating a comprehensive product!

The Civic Linker platform is being developed by the NGO ‘Cultural and Educational Platform “Code of the Nation”’ with the support of the Act to Drive Change Acceleration Programme under the ‘Phoenix: The Power of Communities’ project, implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation with funding from the European Union
