Forest to Energy Laboratory
The goal of the project is to create a laboratory "Forest to Energy", which will become an innovative platform for developing models for processing wood waste into fuel pellets and their use for heating budget institutions of the community. The implementation focuses on "soft investments" - educational and research activities, training, the formation of energy cooperatives and the development of a business model. An important element will be the preparation of a feasibility study, which will allow laying the foundation for future investments in equipment and scaling up solutions in the field of bioenergy. Thus, the project bridges the gap between the current state, when wood waste remains an unused resource, and the target level, which provides for their systematic use to reduce heating costs, increase energy independence and develop the local economy on the principles of a circular economy.

Arrangement of the "Children's Space" room of the Starosynyavska Library for children
To achieve the goal, a set of measures is planned: carrying out renovation work in the library premises with the renewal of flooring, lighting and wall decoration; purchasing modern furniture and equipment (children's tables, chairs, soft areas, bookshelves, interactive panel, multimedia projector); creating functional areas - for reading, creativity, learning and games; organizing educational and cultural events for children of different ages. Currently, there is a children's corner in the library, but it is not modern: the furniture is outdated, there is no interactive equipment, the space does not meet the requirements of a safe and inclusive environment. This limits the opportunities for holding high-quality children's events, reduces the motivation of children to visit the library and participate in the cultural life of the community. The target level after the project implementation involves: creating a comfortable, aesthetic, and safe environment for children; increasing the number of children's visitors; expanding the range of cultural and educational services; increasing the level of satisfaction of residents with the quality of the community's cultural infrastructure.
